One of the challenges for a lot of
men and women today is that they
feel a pressure to act a certain
type of way, a way that is arrogant
and rude.
Now, maybe when one is 15 this might
seem cool to some. But by the time
you're an adult, there's no place for
it.
The problem is that a lot of the culture
today celebrates insane values, just
take a look at the popular culture
and music. It often preaches violence,
lust, and a total absence of real
love.
Yet, when someone contributes REAL
entertainment with quality values,
something like Titanic or The Notebook,
it almost always becomes a super
best-seller. That's because people,
young and old, men and women,
are STARVING for the real stuff.
And so, in honor of GOOD VALUES,
I am putting up a song by John Denver,
(Calypso, that honors Jacques Cousteau)
and the great news is that there
are awesome women out there who
totally love this kind of thing
too!
They key though is to not act
APOLOGETIC for having great values-
your PRIDE in these great values
liberates women from having to
feel a need to pretend they are
part of the insane culture--
they would love to know that
you are a quality man.
Don't even PRETEND to be a guy who
is into the screwed up values, all
that would achieve is attract the
WRONG kind of woman. On the other
hand, when you are super congruent
and proud of your great values,
you not only show greater confidence
in yourself, but you also show
a great woman that she can trust
you to stand up for these things
no matter what, no matter
WHAT pressure you are under.

What Makes You SuperMAN
A super strong sense of positive
and unselfish PURPOSE is the key
to infinite inner game.
The movie "Superman Returns" is
an excellent example of this.
A great man is validated on his own
and does the right thing no matter
what. He does not need approval from
a woman, even if he would love it,
he doesn't become needy for it.
All this internal power comes from
a sense of PURPOSE, and that purpose
is one that CONTRIBUTES to humanity
in the maximum way.
And a great man chooses the right
woman very carefully, being
METICULOUS about her character.
In the movie "Superman Returns",
this was shown brilliantly:
One of the key points is Superman's
CHOICE of woman - Superman is no longer
in love with the kind of woman we used
to know as Lois Lane. The old Lois Lane
was a bi****tchy, selfish woman who is
abusive to those who lack self-esteem.
All she used to care about were her
fascination with Superman for all
the wrong reasons and she was obsessed
with getting awards for her journalism.
But with the new Lois Lane, Superman is
in love with a woman who is a great woman-
a strong woman who is willing to carry a
massive secret with her all her life, a
secret even from Superman, just to protect
her child, and all at the same time
she is assertive and yet kind, never
becoming a beee-yotch and clearly
not a product of Spice Girl's
frivolous meaningless "Girl Power"
hypocrisy and hogwash.
The new Lois Lane is a far more
admirable character.
She shows that a woman is not admirable
just because she is attractive, but
because of her ACTIONS.
Lois in this movie risks HER life to
rescue Superman just as Superman has
risked his own survival to rescue her
as well as their family and friends.
She also thinks of what's best for
her child, rather than being obsessed
with Superman for her own sake or
for superficial glory.
Also, when Superman thinks (mistakenly)
that Lois doesn't love him, he manages
to HANDLE it emotionally, he's clearly
challenged by it at first, but he is a
MAN and can still find his purpose in the
world that is greater than anything else.
And that purpose is a positive one, a
giving one.
Also, the way he GAINS POWER not just
from the sun, but also from the very
fact he is being the man he was BORN
to be, gives him a REBIRTH- a sense
of purpose, of energy, and drive.
